Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information the iOS app "Horogium" and its server (horogium.com), operated by Rsync Inc., handle.

Information we collect

• When you use the app without signing in, your watch designs are stored on your device and are never sent to our server. If iCloud Drive is enabled on your device, they sync between your own devices through Apple's iCloud (we cannot access that data).
• Signing in with Apple is required only when you publish a design with a URL. We store only the user identifier issued by Apple; we never request or store your name or email address.
• When you publish a design, we store its recipe (design data), share images, and the publication date. These are publicly visible on the share page.
• Session tokens used to keep you signed in are stored only in hashed form.

How we use it

The information above is used only to provide the publishing features (publish, delete) and to prevent abuse (such as rate limiting).

Access logs

The server runs on Cloudflare, and access logs including IP addresses are processed temporarily for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

Usage analytics and crash reports

To improve the app, we use Firebase (Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics), provided by Google LLC, to collect anonymous usage data (such as the type of in-app actions, purchased product IDs, device model, OS version, and an anonymous device identifier) and crash information. This data never includes your design contents, your Apple user identifier, name, or email address, and is not used for advertising or tracking. In-app purchases

We use an SDK provided by RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) to process and restore purchases of parts packs and save slots. It receives only the Apple receipt indicating what you purchased, an anonymous identifier, and device information; none of this is linked to your Sign in with Apple user identifier, name, or email address. Payment is handled by Apple (the App Store), so your credit card and other payment details never reach us or RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for how RevenueCat handles data.

Third parties

We never sell your information or share it for advertising. The app contains no ads, and Firebase and RevenueCat described above are the only parties we send data to.

Deleting your data

You can delete each published design from the app at any time. Deleting your account from Settings removes all of your published designs, images, and user record.
